How about for a year they take these hormones, so that they can experience what most females have to experience each month and see how they feel... some people can be so uncaring! (mean teacher) :(

They probably wouldn't be able to handle it though... I know I can't!

I'll go for the military thing before I'll take female hormones, Taking female hormones drives males crazy there was an experiment in 1968 where they gave men hormones and 25% of them developed schizophrenia like psychosis. ( and I think that explains a lot about women's behaviour.)

Ok, you're going to two extremes. One would change the male chemistry to have higher estrogen that would open up to the male having breast growth, a lighter voice, and increased sensitivity. On the other hand, you have the military which would increase the testosterone levels because in the military men are subject to many extremes in both activity and conflict.

So, which is it?Do you want a man who is sensitive and has breast growth and a higher pitched voice or a man who is tough and more manly?

No on both. Only people who have not been properly raised would need military training for anything other than serving.

The military should not be used to discipline brats; that's the job of parents.

Adding hormones would have adverse effects, suppressing testosterone would probably have the effect you might want but it's probably best to just undermine chauvinism itself. Boys aren't born into being the macho-retards some of them grow up into.

I had a male friend that had cancer, so one of his needed medicines was estrogen. He did not grow breasts, but did have hot flashes and mood swings, so in that way, he felt closer to women & says he will never doubt his wife's moods again! So it was necessary for him, but not for the average man.
In Germany, males are expected to join the military for at least two years. It seems to work well there, very little gang action or groups of mean guys causing harm to others. They learn respect, how to follow orders, also learn a career while in the military. Doesn't necessairly cause them to turn into Nazis either, we have more of them here in our country than Germany has now.

I think yes to military but for 3 or 4 yrs, teach many of them the meaning of respect and what its about, and then all these little punks that think packin a gun is cool - show them what its like to be tough and be a REAL Man, In my opinion guys that feel a need to disrespect and carry guns are pretty much a candy *** afraid of gettin an *** whippin,
As for the hormones - Im not sure -what will it do to me ? I did 7 yrs in the Navy, so Im game for an adventure,

Hormones - NO
Military -Yes

The problem with most men is that they aren't prepared to be Men. They do not know how to lead, take responsibility, and defer gratification.

The military teaches that. Hormones would only further to screw them up.

No, men weren't designed to have an overload of estrogen in their system, that's why they're men!

Forced military experience would only add to an already too violent society.

Why do you hate men?

What did they do to you?
