No, but you can turn off the sharing option, by clicking on the options tab, and removing the shared folder from the Shared tab, that will keep nosy government smucks away from your downloads, and speed up download times.

No, you won't go to jail, BUT there is a small chance that you could be sued by the Recording Industry Association of America, and end up paying a settlement or fines in the thousands of dollars (usually under $5,000). Of course, the risk of you, personally, being sued is very, very small, especially if you only download files (i.e., don't share or upload any music files that you burn or download).

It is possible that you could... however, as the previous answerers stated, take them out of your shared files, so then you are not re-distributing them.
You may want to do some research on the fbi anti-piracy laws.
