First off, I'd like all the tards on here who voted Bush and continue to support the Republican party controlling our congress to face up to their mistake by electing these idiots who got us into this war to begin with. They can all stop blaming liberals for the mistakes of the people they elected. If the draft is re-instated it will only be if the same REGIME in power here continues to be permitted to cater to corporate America's best interest rather than those of our own middle classed citizens. Democrats and those Independents who were against this war from the start will not lead us into a draft. In fact, I believe they will get us out of the mess Bush got us into, even if it means letting the Iraqi people do what they should have done from the beginning..... Fight their own damn humanitarian battle. Iraqis have proven that they prefer Sadam to our military presence by killing our soldiers at an alarming rate since we invaded their country. If the Republicans continue to control our government and keep us at war then a draft could be inevitable. After all, they are responsible for the deaths of nearly 2800 US soldiers already. At this rate they will be drafting and/or begging gays to return to the military they are using as chess pieces in a losing game.

The way things are going right now, look for the draft to be re-instated in less than two years.

Well, if we hit a major depression (which we will at this rate) things will get so hard for the middle class. With expensive college education, expensive healthcare and outsourced jobs this will attract people to join that way. It's sad.

I think it will be sooner than that. We have had to rely on the National Guard and the Marines to do our fighting for us because Clinton decimated our Army a and Navy bases and all but deleted the regular Army.
Too many of our troops are located in foreign countries and we have a lot of Hispanics who are going to wish they were back in Mexico where it is safer. They will learn that Freedom is Not free.

Well I hope they do, especially if the DEMS take over - it will be fun to see all the kids of congress and senate who voted for WAR have to say bye bye to their kids going to WAR, Maybe then they will understand how "poor" amerca feels. Its a good way to shake up their elitist enclave,

If we end up going to war with North Korea. It is highly possible. Otherwise, I doubt it!
