Honestly go with what interest you, I've known way too many people who went for the money and wound up hating their job and terribly unhappy, eventually going back to school to pursue what they really were interested in.
Whatever feels right is what you should study, as far as money is concerned, that really is up to you and how ambitious you are. If anything, make sure you have a backup minor, if one does not work out, you can try to pursue the other.
Another option is talking with people in the fields of your interest, get feedback from them. Volunteering temporarily can also give you a feel for the fields and see if it's worth doing. Best luck. :)

Wow, you made me reflect a bit. I just pressed my youngest to get into a school that applies children from beginning middle and high school to focus on advance science medicine and to be fair art. I really want her to get a gos education and I pressed her to get it together to pass the entrance exams. She did and is doing well so far. Well your interest in psychology is a good one. This is a career that can help many, you can also offer help based on your faith. So those of the same faith can come to you for help and you can guide them. You are the one who has to live in your skin, you must be comfortable there. If you do not want to live in the skin of a Dr. then you can not as you will always wonder what if. Every time you are unhappy as a Dr. it will be their fault as you will say what if I became what I wanted to become then I could be happy going into work today.

Medical is the way to go. Many hospitals will even pay for the college in exchange for a couple years of work (with pay). There is always a need for experienced medical people no matter where you decide to live later on.
