Public relation manages corporate wide communication with the outside world, which include insititutional investors, business partners, stock holders etc. The head of PR for a company is like Tony Snow of the White House.

Public relations (PR) is the art and science of managing communication between an organization and its key publics to build, manage and sustain its positive image.
If you have good PR at your organization whether it may be internal or external, it will help the management definitely. The question is that who build PR, its also the part of management responsbility to build a strong PR within and outside of the organization. In the current working environment we can not ignore the significance of PR in every organziation. Management is nothing wihout the strong public relations.
