My wife and I are thinking about Tyler Jaden. We both like TJ for short. Even though it doesn't have to be TJ we both would like the baby to have a middle name. Do you guys have any suggestions on first and middle names that go together? Thanks.

Great name! And TJ is really cute.

The only Jayden I know is a 1 y.o. girl and I find it a little feminine but no one really knows your middle name so like someone else said already, if you love it go with it!!

I think middle names are nice. My baby girl has 2 middle names. One we liked plus my first name.

When picking names my only advice would be try to anticipate what kind of terrible nicknames a 12 year old might come up with and keep in mind what the initials spell... My boss always notices this and laughs about really unfortunate combinations when people get a lot of initials!!

I tried to be careful and thought I had it licked with a cute little MADY for my daughter... turns out that she's also MAD Young though. Sure hope the 12 year olds leave her alone! (If she'd been a boy it would have been NAY which always bugged me and I thought about adding another middle name the whole time I was pregnant.)

Congrats!

Tyler Jaden is very cute. My best friends little boy is Tyler Eugene.

Other "TJ" names:
Trevor James
Trenton Joseph
Travis Jordan
Teegan James
Tanner Joseph
Thayne Jordan
Torrence Jaden

Of course you can always switch the middle names around & figure out which combinations you like best.

Hope this helps. I think Tyler Jaden is very cute though. Good luck & congrats.

He'll never use the second name, so don't get too hung up on it. He'll be known as Tyler or T.J. I think the best way to choose a name is to bear in mind that a child will have to live with it when you're not around and ask yourself will they feel good and comfortable with it. My mum gave me an unusual name and as a child all I heard over and over was "what a lovely name, where does it come from, how do you spell it blah blah etc. etc., when all I really wanted was to be called an ordinary name and feel normal, instead of like a freak. That said, Tyler seems a decent name and I don't think he'll have a problem with it.

Tyler is about as common today as Debbie was in the 50s...
please consider another name.
Children want to be unique not have the same name as half the other kids...when I had my son Jason boy names starting with J were the thing now it is "T"+something...
how about making a list of grandfathers and uncles and see what flows well to you...pronounce it out loud and write it out to see how it looks.
Is it going to be easy to spell or will they be saddled with the need to explain the spelling? just take your time and have fun with it...
make up a silly name as the bad one you won't use and the others will sound even better... there needs to be a ballance in the names. like if you have a short last name a longer first name could be ok but if your last name is long and you add a long first name too that can get to be a bother for your child...

I like it. Why not give him 2 middle names. Make one a name sake. I would tell you the boy name for my baby, but I don't want you to use it, lol. How about Tyler-Jaden then your dad's name?

tyler jaden? sorry, only my opinion but that sounds like a yuppie/designer name

i'd go for a more usual name, the kid is going to have the mickey taken out of him at school

your choice though, and good luck....congratulations too, assume the child is on the way/already there?

I don't like Jaden for a boy. I like Tyler James and Tyler Jonathon if you want to stick in the J's.
Names for boys...
Andrew Thomas Alexander
Lydon Eric Michael
Steven Anthony Tyler
The more middle names the better! I have four. :)

My grandsons name is Jayden Mcayde! But then his nickname is Pickle. That's a long story so I won't get into it. Tyler Jaden is a nice name, Ty will probably be what his friends will call him!
