and will it eventually be out on ps3?

The guy who wrote the answer above me is obviously a ps mega fan so dont listen to him there is a rumor that microsoft are trying to break a deal with square cnix to let final fantasy's be released on the xbox however that is only a rumor.FF12 is only on ps2 but Square cnix are releasing ff13 and a game called final fantasy versus 13 on the ps3. Both i have only seen slight clips of both and both look amazing, I think the main character in 13 is a girl. Also if you have a psp theres a game called final fantasy7 crisis core coming out on it which i think is zacks story that also looks amazing.None of this should concern you though as i think we should all be hoping that Square cnix remake final fantasy 7 the best of the best.

Not that I know of. FFXII was originally made for the PS2, and I don't think Square Enix will port it to the Xbox360.
As for the PS3, it should be backwards-compatible, so yes, it should be able to play FFXII (still as a PS2 game though).

It will never be on the Xbox 360 ever. And they are making FFXIII for PS3 so theres not gonna be a PS3 version of FFXII. But remember you can play every PS2 game on your PS3 anyways.

ps2 only so maycome out on 360 u never know what mirosoft will do if by ff u never now
