hiya i had my gender scan at 17weeks + 3days and you could see what he was,
if your baby is in a good position i cant see why they wont tell you what it it,
my son had his legs wide open and knees pulled up ideal............. expect his cord kept falling between his legs so i had to go for a walk to encourage him to move
which worked then you could see what he was.
trust me boys are hard to miss their erm balls are more noticeable than his winky!!!

about and hour before your scan drink lots of sweet stuff, coke ,apple juice or coffee and eat something sweet this way your baby may be moving about more which will make it easier for them to see what bits he/she has.
Good luck

I think probably pretty good. Usually they schedule them at 20 weeks but often they can tell as early as 18 weeks. You're lucky! My appointment is next week and I'll be 21 weeks. I cannot wait!!!

I hope they can determine the sex of your baby, if that is what you're wanting.

Good luck!

it depends... sometimes babies don't want to cooperate and they can't tell... usually at 17 weeks they can determine the sex-- however the later you have an ultrasound in pregnancy- the better their percentage of accuracy is.

There could be a slight chance, however, my doctor told me they can usually tell at 20 weeks and after. Maybe you'll get another ultrasound? Goodluck and congrats!
