It is scary how so many have lost all objectivity. They can't see past the political categories...they refuse to think for themselves, and just believe what their party leaders tell them to think...

No, actually I am blown away by how many people (including myself)that think other people are brain washed when they don't share the same opinion. And I am serious here, I have to stop and think is it ME or is it THEM.
Being the normal selfish and self-centered human that I am, I have to go with IT'S THEM.

It is hard to step back and look at a situation and not have it colored by emotion or a company line.
In some sense, we are all brain-washed by the media as we are being fed specific bits of information about the world around us.
I'd like to think I have the maturity and the self-reliance to see the world clearly --- but lord-have-mercy, I want a Carl's Jr. pastrami burger in the worse way. Just open my chest and pack it around my heart!

Yes, I am very blown away by the number of people here who form opinions based on what they hear in the liberal media instead of thinking things through for themselves.
