why is it that when i was dropping out of school to homeschool i got all these weird looks from people staring me up and down

Maybe because they thought you were being homeschooled because there was a problem at school.. and they were trying to figure it out..
Anyways, as long as you're getting a good education now being homeschooled, then it's all good.

cause most home schooled kids lack major issues later in life. and many that are home schooled today are home schooled due to being kicked out of school for something they did and are put up on a system by the state.
like basic knowledge of what they were suppose to learn. have no clue how to interact with others their own age or perform in a team environment, etc.
nothing is more important than your education, nothing.

cause they thought u were dropping out of school entirely. or maybe cause they were jealous that you were brave enough to do homeschooling. who knows? ppl are weird sometimes.
