Probably for one of two reasons:

1. It gets immediate attention.

2. They can't be bothered to figure out the appropriate category.

I agree- I see crazy questions about like homework or something in jokes and riddles. It seems that people don't know what category to put their question under. But some of the questions are really good. Polls and surveys have awesome questions sometimes.!

yeah sort of you r right but at the same time the category is so vague it is hard to say it is the wrong place

Yes I agree. One reason I hang out here is to stay away from some quesions.

I jumped over to the wrestling category. Someones question was "is he gay?" I thought he was talking about a wrestler and in reality he was talking about his friend. I thought W.T.F.? So my response was "and this has to do with wrestling, because?"
