I used to be shy about talking to groups. Then I became a teacher. I had to get over my shyness quickly. If I had to give advice to someone about stage fright, I would say start out small. Talk in front of a small group of three or five people you know. Then try a larger group with one or two people you don't know.

Also, try breathing exercises or focusing exercises similar to meditation in order to keep calm in front of people.

Good luck.
