How is it like dating a guy or gal of a different culture? You both might have a different mother tongue, but are you guys capable of understanding each other using a common language - for example, english? Do you really need to adopt or learn his/her culture in order to maintain the relationship; perhaps take it to another level - marriage? Let me know your experience! I'm trying to date this asian girl, and I don't know what I should do.

If you are an open, intelligent and curious person, it can be a lot of fun and very educational to date someone from a different culture. My Korean-American boyfriend, years ago, taught me Korean, which was great.

It is kinda same with you dating someone from a different religion. Asian respect their culture so much, and usually not as open-minded as Caucasian. If you do like their culture, there's no harm in learning the culture, as it might make her parents welcome you in a more open-arms. But if you do not like their culture, and you can not tolerate that, you better tell her now, before everything got to complicated. You can ask the girl to teach you about her culture little by little, over a light chit-chat...
