I lived in greenville all my life and heard of so many storys of them all the time.I knew a family that was ruined for messing with them. anyone know whats going on ?are is this previlent every where.?

No not Devil or Satan worshipers. I believe that Farr and Farr have a retreat there for the practice of Witchcraft . Which does not believe in SATAN or worship Him.thats a different religion.
Stories is right because the people don't know the Religion.and can make up woppers for ever little natural thing that happens near there.Thats Bible country.. The Christian Religion took many of the rites and rutials that it uses from the Pagans to try and lure them into converting to just christianity. which they had no quarrel with and had their own form of a trinity.When the Pagans keep practings their religion out side of the Church . it was the Christian Church that started calling them SATAN worshipers and such . but keep the rites and rituals and dates of Holy days on or near theirs.

I lived in Greenville, SC for a year and it is a fine community. To label it as a town of devil worshipers is libel. Your story is not first hand and not at all believeable.

I don't believe in god or the devil....but all the same, any religion is a cult....so South Carolina's devil worshipers are a cult of "outcasts" that no one likes...just keep on thinking you are better then everybody else and you have nothing to worry about!

that is pretty much right smack in the middle of the bible belt.
they are probally overblown stories and paranoid delusions of people that are obsessed with the hellfire and brimstone beliefs of extreeme Christians.
they call everything the devil or relate anything that they do not understand to the direct influence of satan.
Satanists, that follow the church of satan. do not believe in heaven or hell. or god or satan. their church laws prohibit doing harm to people in most cases. and prohibit doing any form of harm to a child in all cases. they do not allow any animal sacrifice. and will only kill an animal if it is for food.
you will have your independent satanists and devil worshipers but they for the most part keep to themselves.

wiccans are Modern Pagans and seek personell spiritual growth and often gather only in small groups to worship and do rituals.
there are 13 holidays where they may gather in large numbers for celebrations.

There are so many Wiccans on yahoo answers. I do not know of any devil worshipers. I do not know what is the Wicca religion.
