So I went to the doctor for a urine check and it was positive (he said it was VERY positive and in middle of the day too, which means so far the pregnancy is stable). I don't want to get to excited in case I fall into that 1% chance that I am not. Both tests are only 99% chance and this doesn't seem real...

Ever been diagnosed as pregnant and weren't?

Trust me if it was in the middle of the day and it came out positive on a home pregnancy test and the doctors test, you are pregnant. The reason I say this is because you are actually suppose to take a pregnancy test right after you wake up when you first go to the bathroom. That is when the hormone is the strongest. It is the weakest in the middle of the day and the evenings.

If a urine test comes back positive then its positive its only 99% for the false negative that happens alot, its all about the hormones and as you had it in the middle of the day its defiantly positive. Congratulations your pregnant. Enjoy it.

I did a HPT and it was negative this was at 9 weeks pregnant so that's why its only 99% because of the many women who get false negatives.

If the test come back positive, I am sure you are. Usually there are false negatives....never heard of a false positive. Ask ur Dr. to give u a blood test to be 100%. Any twins in your family? If u are pg with twins you hormone levels are much higher than normal. Good luck to you!

Their are no false positives in home pregnancy tests. There is only one hormone that can cause it to be positive and that's the pregnancy hormone. YOUR PREGNANT!!! Trust me, this is coming from a mother of three, I also miscarried twins. That would be four pregnancies.

You are pregnant, positive test are most usually right. If you still feel uncertain or need more proof then have your doctor do a blood test. That will tell you for sure.

99% positive? For a second there, I thought you only had 99% of a kid. What would it be missing? Half a toe? lol Sorry, couldn't help myself...
