In any game 7 both teams entire pitching staffs become available for duty, including all starting pitchers. This is why I have to believe the Cardinals have the advantage. I'm not even sure if Willie Randolph knows for sure who his is going to start tonight.
And if you look beyond the NLCS, whoever wins tonight will then have to face the Tigers with a rested pitching staff including two fireballers who throw over 100 MPH. (Some reward for winning a National League pennant.) lol

The Mets will win tonight, and the World Series.
The Yankee fan makes a good point about the Tigers pitching staff, good thing the Mets have several players who are dead fastball hitters. Good thing the Tigers have had so much rest, nothing like the rust showing. After all, pitchers are creatures of habit, they need to have consistant work to stay sharp.

I'm counting on the Mets and looking for D. Wright to have a breakout game to close it out. Reyes looked real good tonight.
