Are ghosts real?

Ghosts. Spirits. It means the same thing to me. And I do believe that Ghosts and Spirits are real. After all, once people die, their shell (body) is left without its Spirit.

I will answer this question, but you must understand that this falls into the religious rhelm. I am a born-again Christian and I am also an American Indian, 100%. Therefore I am going to blend the two together and give you what I know.
Everyone that is born on this planet, has a "Soul", it is actually that part of you that trully thinks, feels, hears, senses, everything and everyone that you come across. Your body is nothing more than a "Shell" that your Soul lives in until the day that your body no longer functions. You actually practice your death everytime you go into your bedroom, remove your clothes and go to bed to sleep.
When a person lives he must learn what the "Answer to Life" is and follow what he/she feels is right for him or her. In my Life, it is "Why are we alive in this world". We either accept The Salvation through Jesus Christ or we don't, it's that simple.
I beleive that when a Christian dies, their Soul immediately goes to be with God. When a person that is not saved by Jesus Christ dies, their Soul remains here, on this planet and waits for "Judgement Day".
This being the case, I'm sure you can see why they (The Ghosts) exist and why they are so angry, and painfully sad. According to what I beleive, they will do anything to gain your "Life Force" your Soul, in an effort to live one minute longer and change thier choices in Life.
There is one exception though, Children that die before they reach to age of knowledge about their awareness of life's choices, go to be with God immediately!
So to answer your question......absolutely!! They do exist!! Remember though, the Bible states "Leave the dead unto themselves"!!

I've seen something, but I thought it was more like a deamon. My sister worked for Hospice and has lots of stories to tell. Some are kinda scary. I believe that there is an afterlife, and that some spirits are still hanging around on Earth. One of my sister's stories was this. She was helping a lady who was a new patient, and the lady said that there was a young man standing in the corner. Nobody was there. But the lady insisted that his name was Eric and that he wanted everyone to know that he was happy now. Little did that lady know, he had died in that very room 3 days before. My sister almost fainted. The boy died from AIDS. Another story was that she took care of a man who was dying, he was rich, and she went to his home. He was within a few days of dying and was very scared because he was seeing little men scurring around his bed that had no faces. They were there to take him to hell. He was scared out of his mind. I could go on and on. But yes, I believe there are ghosts.
