Get her/him a gift basket with new pens, dry erase markers, an eraser, chalk, pencils, etc.

Since you are on a budget...if it was female, I would give her a little gift bag from Bath & Body Works (you can never go wrong with that one, and you can get them under $25)...if it was a male, I would go to personalizationmall.com, they have affordable gifts for men...why are men so much harder to shop for than women??!!?!

If I were your teacher I would think just one large beautiful rose would be perfect. Forget the Apple she may have false teeth.

When I did my student teaching gig I got a cert for a manicure and pedicure. My best friend go a cert. for dinner at a local place.

buy her some flowers...like roses or just anything brigth and colorful. i know my 8th grade teacher loves to have flowers in her classroom or someplace just to brighten things up. she always has at least three bunches of flowers in the room each week. i recomend flowers.
