I only saw a few seconds of it...a volcano was erupting and two people a man and a woman were on a ski lift...she falls and is hanging on but then falls to her death...anyone?

I am renting Dante's peak today so should find out if that is it...from what I could tell the two hanging from the ski lift appear to be youngish...18 or 19 maybe. I will let you know if that is it or not. ty for helping me :)

It sounds like Dante's Peak which was filmed in the ski town of Silver Mountain, Idaho.

I'm guessing it's Volcano: Fire on the Mountain, a TV movie from 1997. Description on imdb and others sounds right...volcano under a resort...
