! like school and i have fun and every 1ce and a while when they joke about me its funny but now its starting to get really annoying (i am in middle school) I am in 6th grade and i swim for a team and everyone else in my school plays football and says im not tough but i want to show them that i am. Also all of my friends are really popular and have girlfriends they keep telling me to ask out this one girl but i dont really want to. I need some help.

Can the football players beat you in a swimming race? Why do you have to be tough? Ask your friends why it is important to be tough in order to be liked? challenge the tough guys to a swimming race,I'll bet youll beat the tough guys to the finish. If you dont want to ask a girl out what the heck is it to your friends if you dont? I think standing up for yourself and not allowing people to make your decisions or define who you should be is alot more tough than being a empty headed jock. Maybe you need a new group of friends.

Sorry, buddy. You're always going to get teased. That's just the way life is. Everybody gets teased. Of course, people who take it in stride and dish it out as well as they take it do a lot better with the teasing.
As far as your friends wanting you to ask a girl out - you can just tell them that you can choose your own girls without their help, thankyouverymuch.

ignore them!
the reason they pick on you is because they are jealous of you
but want you to think different
just keep ignoring them and be proud and hold you head high
don't let um get you down
cus when they do!
it makes them happy
make them misable and ignore um! :))

and if you want to ask that other girl out then do what your feelings and heart says
don't do it :))

tell them the joke is old and they can drop it now , and as far as asking the girl out , tell them when u want to date someone , it will be someone u want to date not what they want, u got a mind of your own and can make your own decisions

stand up for yourself and tell them to get over it. don't go psycho or anything, but just stand up for yourself verbally. teasing is a big part of middle school & high school. don't worry, everyone gets teased no matter what. be yourself too. never compromise yourself.
