Whether she had to pick up her kid or not wasn't your problem, and it isn't the place of one person at the laundramat to be watching how long someone else is spending doing anything.
Having said that, however, your mistake was kicking over the trash recepticle. Just as it wasn't her place to keep track of how long you were doing anything, it wasn't your place to allow an argument over a dryer to turn into knocking over the trash.
You could either go there and talk to the manager, apologize, and promise it (and anything similar to it) won't happen again; or else you may just have to go to a different laundramat even if that means finding someone to give you a ride to one.
Being "so upset" isn't an excuse for knocking over the trash. The laundramat manager is probably worried that you may do something worse. Also, its the manager's responsibility not to allow that type of thing to go on around other customers.
I know someone who got in serious trouble over a very foolish little incident because he didn't or couldn't control his temper. You're fortunate that the only consequence is being kicked out of the laundramat. (I don't mean to be at all judgmental or "lecturing". Its just that I have seen far more serious consequences (legal and professional) result when people don't control "being so upset".
Good luck. Maybe the manager will give you another chance. (I, personally, would never want to go back there again if I were you.)

It sounds like you are asking TOO much for your money. Laundry mat operates on time. If you left your clothes in the dryer without using it but just left it idle then I think you are in the wrong. If you were considerate to others, you would of put the dried cloths in a bag and fold them when you have the time. 45 minutes is a long time to park your clothes in the dryer without using it.
I don't think the lady is crazy at all. Sounds to me like she is a reasonable person who have waited "45 minutes" to use the dryer. Just remember, we all have to live in this world. If you have the money, you can buy the world, but if you don't, you must learn to share it.

I would just apologize to the manager, or buy your own washer and dryer. I understand about the germs some of those laundry mats are disguisting. Yet when it is busy if your clothes are dry you should of took them out. I would just take my clothes home where it is clean and fold them there.

It is never acceptible to kick property that does not belong to you. The manager could have called the police, and pressed charges. Next time this happens, maybe you should call out for the manager, so maybe she can get the situation under control. More than likely the "crazy lady" would not have pulled that with the manager.

That sucks!! I agree with you! I cant put my stuff on the counters in those places.... the lady was rude she should have just waited. the dryer belongs to you until your items are removed, no argument. you payed for it. unfortunately there is nothing you can do but swallow your pride and apologize or start doing your laundry in your sink or bathtub..... good luck!!

You really need to apologize. The woman that needed to use a dryer and was pressed for time needed your help and sounds like she was trying to be nice about it. Sorry but this one is your bad!
