Depends on what you mean by "turbo sound"; usually on a turbocharged vehicle, the sound is a high-pitched whine very much like a jet engine that rises until it's almost beyond the human ear's frequency range. It tends to lag behind the engine note rise, because its dependent on exhaust gas pressure.

On the other hand, aftermarket tuned exhaust systems produce a variety of cool sounds, from the burble of the classic "glass pack" dual exhaust on a hotrod V8 to the hoarse rumble of a VTEC Honda. If you're looking to get a particular sound from your ride, modify the exhaust system.

that's no longer gonna make an improve in ability, its gonna do away with ability if something out of your engine, its robbing the motor vehicle of air it needs to respire. it is going to in all probability make your engine run much less effectively, which in long term might desire to do some injury. as a techniques because of the fact the unload valve is going, notwithstanding if it does artwork, it is going to come at a cost of loss of ability, or available loss of gas mileage. The unload valve sound your gonna get (if any) purely isn't something like a actual rapid and it wont be tricky to tell which you extremely have not got a rapid below your hood. shop the money you are able to spend in this, and positioned it in direction of a actual rapid build, you would be happy you probably did!

that's because these losers have an exhaust pipe with no cat.
which is illegal in most states.

no cat makes your car go faster since the exhausts doesn't need to go through an extra filter..it goes right out.

another thing these losers do is have a loud obnoxious exhaust pipe or muffler with no reasonator.

cops will write you multiple tickets in most states for that.

turbos have a BOV which is a blow off valve.
when you hear that, you will know that is a true turbo and not one of these wannbe turbos.
trust me.

in any case, just race with them and see how fast they go.
turbos once they spool up will blow most cars away.
especially if they're tuned right and have the right PSI going in.

What you may be hearing is the injen cold air intake. They make a high pitch noise that kind of sounds like a blow-off valve of a turbo charged car. Only injen intakes makes this noise tho.
