Much better, safer, greener, cheaper, more convenient, body-positive, easier to use, and hygienic than tampons or pads.

It depends on your flow. Some women OK with tampons, some need more. My experiences with women many like the light pads like Stayfree, if, I remember correct, I sure have bought enough, embarrassing at first, but, got used to it. The problem with the Tampons; they are invasive and some women find them uncomfortable that why they use the light pads. If, you use Tampons get a brand that use plastic inserts. That what mine always put on the order list.

kotex tampons- because the other kinds open like an inverted triangle
and thats just NOT comfy
so
kotex security tampons because they open up cylindrically
and a kotex curved pad also
so i dont stain anything if the tampon doesnt hold the blood
and whe ni sleep
kotex overnight pads- theyre long
and oddly enough
they stay in place best when i wear them with a thong
wierd huh?
i know
but it works
the big nono with pads to watch out for is the wings- those suckersll chap your poor inner thigh
hate that

If I have to use a pad, I use Always ultra thin w/ wings. I prefer to use Tampax Pearl tampons though, they're much more comfortable.

use O.B for tampons, they are super absorbant and will last a long time. Use the yellow box its the best kind.
As for pads I don't use them. I hate the feel and if you are sexually active it is nasty for the man to feel you down there and feel a pad. My boyfriend will touch me if there is a string but not when there is a pad of course. Also pads are bulky, they bunch up and can smell. I hope this helps.

while i was in iraq we received "Any Soldier" care packages that contained pads. Being an all male combat arms unit after playing with them, we started carrying them to use them as emergency bandages. you never know when ya have to jam
