You can use Nero for burning. You can also use powerISO. Dunno your pick. Nero is probably best for a beginner because you don't have to deal with ISOs and loading images and stuff since it just burns onto a cd and bypasses most securities. Not sure if you can download it for free but you probably can on www.download.com.

1) Bit Torrent - Go to Isohunt.com or Mininova.org and look for disc images released by a good ripping group like RELOADED. Download the full image.

2) You can get a free progran called Daemon Tools which will create virtual drives on your computer. These appear as CD/DVD drives in explorer but do not physically exist. You load the image you downloaded into the virtual drive by choosing the mount option.

3) You can then install and play the game using the image in the virtual drive as if it were a real cd or dvd. Keep in mind that some copy protections will blacklist these drives, there are anti-blacklisting programs which will hide your virtual drives (Anti-blaxx, CureRom, etc.) A lot of games by groups like RELOADED have already had the copy protection removed and crack files included in a folder on the image which you would copy into your installation directory (once you have installed) over the original files.

4) You can of course burn these images onto physical CD/DVD discs but I prefer to keep the images on my hard drive and burn them off onto DVD when I am not using them, and to archive them (some newer games on DVD are very large and may require a dual-layer DVD burner to hold the entire contents - otherwise you would have to split the thing with winrar and burn on more than 1 DVD). If you were going to burn the game as a copy from the image (making an actual game disc as opposed to simply storing the image) you would need to have a disc large enough to accomodate it if it were larger than 4.5 GB.

5) For burning purposes I recommend Alcohol 120%, it isn't free burning software but it supports many writing modes that correspond to various copy-protection scemes. You could easily find a trial version on the net or a cracked version on a gnutella client like Bearshare.

6) When you run into technical problems, which you will from time to time just hit the forums and search for topics that are similiar to your own situation and you will find your answers eventually.

7) This is just to answer your question on how to do a particular thing. It is up to you if you intend to use it to violate copy-right laws but for all I know it may not be illegal where you live.
