I have power windows in my car and lately the buttons have been sticking to the point where I have to keep pushing and pushing the button to get the window to do anything ... Is there anything that would be an easy fix to get my buttons to work?

Sounds like new switch time but with so little information as to what make and model I cannot also say brand x has electric motor problems when brand Y has fuse/switch circuit breaker problems I have been doing auto repair over 30 years and fix everything that comes my way.

i own a repair shop, and i don't know what year and make the car is your working on is but the most common cause is the buttons getting worn out on it, they are replaceable ,you can buy new or used id go to junk yard and find some good used ones for it,new ones are a little expensive, but like i said I'm guessing because you didn't tell anything about the car, good luck i hope his help,s.

NO

Somebody has to check the switch unit and the motor.

Are the switches still wired up right?
Are the switches dirty and can they be cleaned?
Is the motor for the window acting up?

It may just be the switches it sounds according to what you are describing. Does it do this for all the windows or just one in particular? if it does this for one it is probably the switch that you have to push down. all you probably have to do is have the switch replaced.... Good luck ....

You've just answered your own question. It sounds like your window switch is worn. You can probably purchase one at the dealership and install it yourself. Once you see the part, it should be self-explanatory as to how to replace it.
