Well, I am musically braindead (lol), I think that may have more to do with me never really having the chance to play an instrument, but anyway, I want to learn how to play the guitar, since I do like music and bla bla, I could go on.

My point is, I am wondering if anybody knows some good places a COMPLETE beginner might learn to play the guitar (online since I live in the middle of nowhere and don't get my license until next year.

That's about it, thanks

I will retract my insults against them at least, just please people, try to answer the question :-)

Hopefully one of the links below might be able to help you..... I'm not actively trying to defend him here but the person who said "teach yourself" may NOT have intended to sound insulting ..... many of the great guitarists do not read music (Satriani being just one) most of these greats learned only by listening to what their fingers played and working from there.

Links below and hope they do help

If you have little musical talent I would suggest thay you play the bass. It is easier than guitar to play in many cases, and is equally as fun. I did that because I don't have much musical talent as well.
