I ask this question because it seems like more guys (and even girls) today are experimenting with the opposite sex, and many are enjoying the experience. Is it the hot new fashions like those from Abercrombie and Fitch or American Eagle? If you look at guys, many of them look the same today all wearing the same kind of fashion (cargo shorts, polos, jeans, fitted ball caps, etc.) They have to get the idea to dress a certain way by looking/checking out other guys. Is it the wide variety of gyms available now? It seems like guys are all into getting their six packs.. and more and more guys are getting them. They want to be like their friends. Also, it seems like everyone is in sports like soccer, basketball, football.... it seems like their are more high school athletes experimenting.... is it the stylish uniforms they wear that turn each other on? Or, are they checking out each other in the locker room.... Why are more and more guys bisexual or gay?

It isn't that people are changing, it is that society is changing (thankfully) so that people can be more comfortable expressing what they really feel. As far as guys wanting six packs - women have always felt the pressure to be thin, and have a certain body type. Men are catching up now, but still have a long way to go in terms of body image pressure.

My answer is: it's because it got so popular. People think: "Oh I could try that too!" It's because the media talks about it and shows gay series, people, marriage and all....there is less of a fronteer to do it yourself, since it has to be accepted nowadays. Like with every trendy thing...

I think American society is becoming more sex-positive. Basically sex isn't the taboo it once was. It used to be "A gentleman never asks and a lady never tells." Now people are experimenting with their desires and trying new things. They're openly discussing what goes on in their bedroom. In some cultures past it would have been perfectly acceptable for a man to ask other men for advice on penetrating a male lover. In America in the 1950's, it would have gotten someone killed. Now we have curious virgin males asking that question on here all the time. Sex isn't the taboo it once was, and society has gotten more accepting of the GLB communities to the point that it isn't as likely to get someone killed.

Probably no more than before, but more in the open. Male bashing is "almost" acceptable now, as well; many are tiring of the problems with women, the injustice in the divorce and child custody laws, and deciding to live an openly gay life, rather than a double life, half of the life hidden.
There are no statistics of married men who regularly participate in homosexual sex; but it is staggering, and will increase. Many women are literally pushing men out of the doors of their homes and away from their children; a gay lifestyle begins to look better.

For the most part, it is more acceptable today to be bisexual or gay for men.
All of this actually always existed at this scale but it was kept under wraps. And by the way, many, if not all men who claim to be straight are actually bisexual at some level.

it is not any longer that it is extra regularly used now; on the choice. Homosexuality, because it now stands, has been conventional among all animals for millennia. there have been queer close by human beings, queer Greeks, queer Romans, and queer historic chinese language! it is barely extra suitable to talk approximately it now. all of us is conscious somebody who's gay, and that takes the stigma off of it, allowing extra queers to go out the closet, for this reason persevering with the approach. be conscious: no longer all Greeks have been queers. that's a mislabel triggered by using contemporary human beings considering that as they practiced gay acts. a youthful male replaced into no longer seen as an entire guy, and replaced into as a result an appropriate lover for older citizenry. the jobs have been strict and something could desire to be seen queer, yet maximum adhered to the jobs.

It's just easier today for people to talk about their sexuality with gay life being a little more accepted today. Only problem is there are still way too many homophobes out there

It is not more and more guys bi or gay. It is your knowledge of awaring of that only now. All the things you said are nothing to do with bi or gay. Six packs..fashionable cloths .. i dont see it strange. It goes along the way as usual. What you try to say?

According to Kinsey close to 99% of people have always been some degree of bi. It isn't that more people are becoming bi or gay, it's that as society becomes more accepting, more and more people are coming out of the closet.

There isn't any more gays now a days then there were 10 years ago. It was harder to be accepted 10 years ago, so less people came out of the closet.....but trust me they were still there...they just didn't want the world to know. And now a days it seems much easier for society to accept, and that is the reason why people are more out and open about it...................................................GO FAMILY!!!!!!
