I purchase genuine Louis Vuitton and Chanel purses and totes. I am so sick of seeing all these teenagers with them who obviously cannot afford them. How can the people I associate with know that my purse and/or tote is a genuine product and not a knockoff. I usually have to tell them orally, but I wonder if there are visible indicators.

I can certainly tell, but I want to know if the average person who is not familiar with the Vuitton & Chanel accessories would be able to tell.

leave the price tag on them that way everyone knows what you spent but in my opinion the people who bought the knock offs got the better deal

I see kids driving BMWs and Mercedes. Those aren't knock offs. So why do you think that kids are carrying knock offs? There are just a lot of kids with money out there. Apparently you haven't been to high school lately. My daughter carries Chanel, Coach and Louis Vuitton purses, although I prefer Coach. Now if you want to know if a purse is a knock off, you should be able to tell if you're carrying the real thing, right? The salespeople at the stores will be glad to share that information with you. But to answer your question, the purse should look to be of good quality and the stitching and design should match up on the seams. Coach usually has their name stamped on the hardware of the purse. However, they are making such good counterfits today, it is hard for even the experts to tell what is real and what is not. There is a lot of stolen and counterfit goods floating around China, you can buy anything you want there. My daughter happens to reap the benefits of having parents that travel internationally.

First of all, You should be ashamed of yourself from assuming that teenagers cant afford a certain brand of purse. Maybe you dont realize that the majority of women who buy LV, Chanel and all the "IT" brand bags ARE teenagers. Either they have parents who spoil them or they WORK HARD to get what they want. Maybe you have never been to New York or California and if you are from New York or California (You really should know better) because teenagers are the top buyers of expensive clothing and accessories. Being in my early 20's I have a lot of authentic bags/accessories and clothing from Gucci, LV and Chanel because I have worked hard for it.
You NEED a reality check if you are desperate to get the people whom you associate with to know that your purses are genuine. Is it really that serious to you? You already think you are better than others because you can afford a real bag and now you need others to know it. You need to be at church.

It's not always possible to tell with a really good knockoff. I have one that even has a serial number and the store repaired it for free! They couldn't tell.
I have some others that are much more obvious. Plastic, not leather etc.
How did I acquire them? I bought them in ShangHai not realizing they were knockoffs. I know nothing about purses and it was only my friends who told me they were designer purses valued at $500 plus.

you purchased these expensive handbag for yourself and not for others. You should not have to to explain to your friends that your purse are authentic. Unless you're buying those handbag to show off. If you're into designer items the knock off are pretty obvious. The fabic, logo, colors, styles are all different from the authentic. Authentic have serial # which looks like a credit card. Into of the handbag you should see the seial # which matches the card.

you would possibly want to be ready to inform a authentic Prada from the knock off by technique of searching on the contained in the bag. as an get mutually the wide-spread of the textile thats has been used to line the bag. and also seem to work out the position this is been made. If if says china, Tawain, japan, opportunities is it is a knock off. yet when it says made in Italy or perhaps perhaps france, it would want to no longer be the single hundred% unique notwithstanding it is close. There also ought to be a signature seem to it also, and also the Prada commerce mark might want to be stiched or carved in the textile or carved on the latch or zips.

You can show them ur recipet
and usually the knockoffs you can tell easily by looking at the texture, the print, and the straps.
and usually if your in the scene and wear other designer clothes and people kno that you can afford it then no one will question if ur bags are real or not.

i'm not an expert, but usually it's little things like if they spell the designer wrong, like in the movie "serendipity" there was a street vendor selling prado instead of prada. also, the material used is probably a lot cheaper in the knock off and the colors are sometimes different.
