I ask this question because it seems like more guys (and even girls) today are experimenting with the opposite sex, and many are enjoying the experience. Is it the hot new fashions like those from Abercrombie and Fitch or American Eagle? If you look at guys, many of them look the same today all wearing the same kind of fashion (cargo shorts, polos, jeans, fitted ball caps, etc.) They have to get the idea to dress a certain way by looking/checking out other guys. Is it the wide variety of gyms available now? It seems like guys are all into getting their six packs.. and more and more guys are getting them. They want to be like their friends. Also, it seems like everyone is in sports like soccer, basketball, football.... it seems like their are more high school athletes experimenting.... is it the stylish uniforms they wear that turn each other on? Or, are they checking out each other in the locker room.... Why are more and more guys bisexual or gay?

It's trendy these days.
Also, I think a lot of men secretly feel constrained by the societal expectation to be super-masculine. I'm sure that encourages some men to swing completely the other way.
And I realize my opinion is not politically correct. That's okay with me.

It isn't that it is more prevalent now; on the contrary. Homosexuality, as it now stands, has been popular amongst all animals for millennia. There were queer Native Americans, queer Greeks, queer Romans, and queer Ancient Chinese! It is just more acceptable to speak about it now. Everyone knows someone who's gay, and that takes the stigma off of it, allowing more queers to exit the closet, thus continuing the process.
Note: Not all Greeks were queers. That is a mislabel brought on by modern people since as they practiced homosexual acts. A young male was not seen as a full man, and was therefore an acceptable lover for older citizenry. The roles were strict and anything else could be considered queer, but most adhered to the roles.

I think your questio nis more opinionated than neutral, I don't know this trend exploding where I live nor would I pay any attention if it were.
There is nothing wrong with worrying about your appearance we live in a very vain soceity as it is so I can beleivethere is pressure to be muscular and have a nice complexion and have trendy clothes. I like a moreclean cut man rather than grungy, but I do agree that gay/bisexual experiments are a new era and it is something that people will try and figure out for themselves. hey its better than these 50 or 60 yr. old men who rape/hire young boys o have sex with them, b/c being gay was not exceptable back in their days!!!

this is something that starts from puberty. In the past, kids had someone around to explain the facts of life to them. Today most parents work and kids are left to learn about the world on their own. The only refuge left for them is t.v. and friends. There is no sense of direction in the world today and the end result is a manifestation of our own greed to succeed in life and leaving the parental responsibilities to t.v. and the streets where this is seen as the norm.

I dunno, but it seems that for every "gay" or gay-appearing guy who's into fashion and whatnot, there are legions of hypertraditional males who don't bathe much, wear poorly fitted shapeless clothes, or wear gangsta style duds. And most of those dudes really could use some time at the gym, because they are in terrible shape. The stats say that obesity in America is increasing exponentially, and that seems to square with what I see on the street.

Guys are just horny. I've never tried it myself and I never will but I'm very comfortable with my sexuality. I think that its just become more socially acceptable. But if you look back in history you'll see that in ancient times it wasn't all that un common for some cultures to be bi sexual. Even Hitlers army was a little fruity believe it or not. Its true I saw it on history channel.

Scientists believe that people don't "turn gay." They believe that men or women are gay from the start - birth. They just don't know it when they are young since gays and bis are perceived as different, and it's not what kids today are grown to be aware of.

Well, if you think there are more gays today than there
was a year or two years ago, or even three years ago, then you are sadly misinformed and have not even heard of the AIDS epidemic. AIDS has claimed the lives of two out of every five gay blade out there. If they haven't passed on yet, they will in short order. It is a killer disease and it is only delayed by modern drugs.
