I was in the room for every niece and nephews birth...The same doctor delivered all but 3 of them...The baby comes out and i say "EEK how ugly" Doc would look at me like i was crazy...Last baby he delivered for sis, he holds my nephew up, looks at me and said..."This ones really ugly" LOL the nurses about had a heart attack....LOL

Most newborns are beautiful :-) And if they are not beautiful, I would not want to be the one picking myself up off the ground after telling the mother the newborn was ugly....because if someone would have told me that my son was ugly when he was born, I probably would have knocked the sh*t out of them!!!

Nah, all newborns are kind of funky looking. It takes them awhile to really join the real world and start looking more like little people and less like little tadpoles. What's beautiful, really, is the IDEA of a newborn--the start of a new life, the possibility, and the love that cocoons a new baby.

Every baby is beatiful no matter what. It's their own beauty. But if you dont think so, just don't bother to say it. THis is their newborn baby! Are you really going to say the baby's ugly? lol

Oh man, I have seen some ugly babies. I lie to the parent(s) because its in bad form to tell someone their baby looks like he's been hit with a bucket full of *** holes.

Because if you had kids you wouldn't want anyone telling you that your kid was ugly. So the nice and polite thing to say is that the baby is beautiful so that karma doesn't come back to you and kick you in the face.

everybody with the gall to tell a mom that her newborn is gruesome, applying fact as an excuse to be rude, merits the wrath they'll get carry of. i comprehend a woman who right this moment calls an acquaintance of ours an "S.O.B." because of the fact he observed as her toddler gruesome in 1960. I actually find all babies to be beautiful.They are so innocent and so precious.Each child that enters this world looks at it with such wonderous eyes.Everything is perfect in their world.Everything seems so complex,when us as adults see things as simple.They are curious about the world and learning about it.They are precious,how one could ever say an infant is ugly,i would never know.

Yeah that would be halarious! My family was on pins and needles (because my baby’s daddy is ugly to them) waiting for my son to be born. My mom even prayed that “he wouldn’t be ugly like his dad”, and fortunately he got my cute genes! And to those wondering why I would get pregnant by an ugly guy, well, to me he wasn’t.
So believe me, some people do tell others when they’re babies are ugly….had mine turned out that way, I would’ve been hearing it too!
