Wow! If you could get a 36 inch diameter ball, that would be better than most landscapers would try to get.

Wait until the tree is dormant, if you could wait a few more months, but if it has to be now, it has to be now.

The soil should be moist, not wet. Dig down at least 18 inches, please. Hold the ball together with burlap and ropes. When you encounter roots, stop and cut them cleaning with shears. Shovel cuts are ragged and more likely to become infected.

Make certain the new hole is already dug.....wider than the diameter but about the same depth. Over digging down creates a loose soil that compacts letting the tree sink too deep. Set the tree at the same level as before......and if possible with the same alignment........that is the north side remain the north side. Sounds silly, but some trees do resent being turned.

As you refill, undo the burlap gradually. Mulch the soil to hold in moisture and to keep the soil from freezing too quickly. The tree may try to initiate new roots soon after transplanting.

Good luck.

maximum timber have a root gadget that mirrors the crown so despite the fact that the unfold on proper could be very simular underground. besides the tree will in all probability die in case you attempt to circulate it. to maintain the tree from interfering with the plumbing placed a bearer between them like what's used for bamboo to maintain it from taking on a community. particularly stop the roots from growing to be into the pool plumbing. A thick plastic/rubber form of fabric is used see a backyard and backyard save for help.
