You need to look at www.dictionary.com and see what a republican is and what a democrat is. LOOK at this.... U.S. Constitution: Article IV, Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence. .......................... We need in AMerica at least two more terms of republican power befroe we vote democrat again............ SOme do not see this.. I fear for my nation because of this. I pray for there greed of power not to overtake the nation.. As you can see with the other answers ,we are in trouble. FOlks are brain washed and do not see that there lives and there childrens lives depend upon two more terms of republican power....America was founded upon Republican,Christian and masonic Ideas.

Speaking as an American.
Republicans believe in self defense. We believe it is OK to have different levels of income. We are the most moral when it comes to worship and are most of your educated white collar, but not your educators.
Democrats are either mainstream or liberal. Your liberals want to do away with the upper income and feel the riches should be divided among the poor. Of course those in congress who believe that are wealthy and would not do it themselves. The democrats love spending others money, which causes higher taxes. They are against any type of war. They believe religion and morality is not a right especially when practiced in public. Either way, your country (India) will be safe from us. now your neighboring countries I would be leery of.

They both suck!! but it's the Republican party in congress that is half way keeping the lid on immigration, if Democrats get in they will blow the lid off. Our country is in dire need of leadership and a Democrat is not the answer, Bush has not lead this country well, again he has not let the generals run the war, just as in Vietnam, they will loose this was also because the politicians can't keep their nose out of it. Each party are like pit bulls fighting for power. G-D help us all.

The Democrats and Republicans have run to the middle so much and placated so many people with money, that there's not a thin dime's difference in their overall performance.
Getting more people to vote in the first place will help diminish the power politicians have of buying groups' support with campaign promises. For me, I vote third party only. the republican party did not exist when this country was founded, so what do you mean america was founded under republican ideas? btw: republic and Republican are different words. and the only reason "republican" is capitalizedin the constitution is because thats how they wrote stuff back then.

We (as republicans) know what is going to ensue if the Dems get the capability they are looking for for. they're going to make a large number in a distant places united states that we adore.
