Uli definitely should have won. Jayra was pretty bad . Her clothes were one dimensional.

Looking at Uli, I would wear EVERY THING SHE HAS EVER MADE!!! I'm not just talking about the runway show, I mean everything!! I've watched season three from the very 1st episode and I truly mean that. On the other hand, looking at fashion today, Jeffrey is the most innovative & that's what people are looking for. His stuff really looked new, fresh, a little odd and totally unexpected. It's like a girl walks down the street in his clothes and you WILL notice her and truly contemplate what she is wearing. Her outfit will make you think. Uli's use of fabric and drape are immpeccable and Uli will have a fashion line, I guarantee it. But everything she did has been done before.....she's just proved that she's definitely one of the best at it. Even though I was a little dissapointed when Jeff was declared the winner, after thinking about it, he really did deserve the honor.

Definately not Laura her collection was theatrical, but not modern or innovative. They were right she is not creative. Did you hear the old music. It was a flash back. I think the could have chosen uli and been okay, but Jeff was the best designer and had the best collection. Uli would have been fine too, but not Laura or Michael they both messed up. Jeff was the best and worked the hardest. He is growing as a person and he is a creative genus. This collection was much more wearable than his others. He is like Van Gough he is just misunderstood. He is getting better he has only been in recovery for 5 years since his stopping IV drugs and alcholo and his suicide atempt. He put his passion into his clothes and it showed.
Update
The win shure did not apperar to be a set up. It was just based on creativity, wearablity, consturction, cohesiveness, uniquess and point of view. Everything mattered even model choice and make up.
It was fair Jeff had it all despite the few set backs. His clothing had a clear story it was very creative and had never been seen before. It was really cohesive a collection and it was really well made. Then he took good models for the chothing and styled their hair correctly and makeup. Then he even used his own music for the catwalk.
Uli was secound hers was very creatvie. Hers just was not as creatvie or as cohesive as michaels. It was very close.
Laura worked a long time ahead and her collection was wearable and just not new, but very well made. That is why she was 3rd.
She workded with what she had intellectually. I think the reason that uli and Jeff did better is that they took heed to the judgess suggestions, but were still themselves durning the final collection.
Micael night made a collection at the last minute that was not wearable and was not editorial. He just did not put thought or work into it. It was just disorganinzed at the last minue. It looked that way.

Just because Jeffery looks and acts like a freak, that doesn't make him creative. It seems so odd to me that he could have such poorly made clothes during the entire season, and then suddenly have a great line on the runway.
Uli did quite well. I thought they gave her a hard time during the entire season, as her clothing was always good.
Michael just bombed! Not sure what happen there, but he was not my top choice anyway, as his product always looked unfinished or poorly executed.
Laura is obviously the best seamstress and could have won, but her collection didn't have much variety. What happened to the red dress we saw the week before???? I think she mistook what Tim said about being all over the place, a little overboard, because she left out her best pieces to try to make it cohesive.

I agree with you. I think they all knew Jeffrey would win from day one. Unless he totally bombed his collection like Michael did or like Santino did. Why does Project Runway always want to go with the freak? His collection was ok but he was NOT penalized for going over budget. Basically, go over budget all you want and then just fill it in with other things and all is fine? He ADDED leather pants and a denim skirt. Those TWO things cost less than the WIGS?!?!?! PLEASE. Uli's collection was by far the best and I wasn't even going for her. I wanted Laura or Michael. Michael's show was a disaster. He did not do well at all. It was just too much. Laura's collection was wonderful. Yes, she did not "expand" but she had a beautiful, well crafted, story telling line. Jeffrey only changed his collection from usual by making stuff he never would have or did make on the show. It was so bland compared to what he normally did. Uli had great cuts and colors and designs. Plus, I want to know why "professionals" are allowed on Project Runway? Is it not an amateur contest? Can Marc Jacobs audition? Jeffrey already has a successful fashion business so why would he get the prizes? I think it is ridiculous and disgusting and I wish that ugly turtle-headed freak got knocked out because of his receipt debacle. Maybe they chose him so he wouldn't try to kill himself again.

You took the words right out of my mouth, I could not believe it when they said Jeffery, I would have bet my life that they were going to say Uli Laura or Michael, I'm still in shock! There is something funny going on there, and I'm not laughing...it just did not add up...

I agree with you. Like the judges said, Uli designed dresses every woman would want to wear, and Laura did superb evening wear that would be a classy/ classic addition to any wardrobe.

I'll deduct from your question that Michael won, and deservingly so! Uli sh.it looks wack, and some of the stuff Laura design look like it came off the set of the Adams family. Michael clearly has the best shot of any of them of doing something useful with their talents commercially.

I don't think it was a set-up. I mean yes there was a lot of focus on him because of the out-side help thing, but if you look at his collection, it is well planned and thought out. It actully follows his theme and is very well represented. He deserved it. His hard work, and dedication paid off. Plus Uli was already getting offers at the show.

I disagree. If you look at what's going on in the world of fashion, Jeffrey's line could fit in seamlessly. He looked like he was already a professional, established designer that had done Fashion Week a million times. Compared to him, everyone else's looked amateurish in comparison. It might not be to everyone's taste, but rarely you see a show on a real catwalk that is. The things we see in stores are not the things that get sent down the runway, but more of an extreme interpretation. I think, given that, Jeffrey was the obvious choice.

I don't think it's a setup. I think that we don't get the full impact of the clothing when we watch it on tv. I don't think the judges knew who they wanted to win, because honestly, any one of the final 4 would have been an excellent choice. I think that what the judges see and what we see are 2 different things, especially since we see an edited version of events and fashions.
