I think it was 1954. We seem to think it may have been 1994, but 1954 was when the Democrats regained the House and Senate and held them both for 40 years.

I am going to say 1994...when the Republicans took control of both houses of Congress and a net pick up of 52 seats in the house and nine in the senate
impressive feat...all because of the little blue dress.

1994 the Republicans took over, and took power. It was the biggest change Congress ever saw.

It was 1994.
