Auto manufacturer do this all the time with oil viscosity on their engines. For example 2000 Honda odyssey cap calls for 5w-30. 2003 honda odyssey calls for 5w-20. They have the same body style and same engine. They only changed it to 5w-20 for better mpg. So overall your mpg is going to change just a little. Nothing to worry about

The only time I would worry is if I was going to pull a heavy trailer through the mountains or tale a cross country trip in the summer. With winter coming on and cool mornings, etc I would just leave it be until spring /sUmmer. 10 points is not that bic a deal.

You have nothing to worry about the lower the number the thinner the oil is, the higher number is what the oil thickness is at operating temp. Just drive normal and if you are in cold temp. the thinner oil is better.

It isn't going to hurt anything to drive it until your next oil change.

It will run fine. Just dont run it too hard. It will break down. Would be better to change it, depending on how hard you drive.

It's American so it'll be fine. If it was foreign you'd need to change it again.

naw.
don't bother.
you know what you shouldn't do though is mix oil.
mixing one weight with another is asking for trouble.

don't do it next time though.
