I like the idea of the pumpkin thing, yet instead of carving, just paint them with acrylic paint, allow the kids to take them home. The paint can be scrubbed off and the pumpkin can be cooked at home to make homemade pie, muffins or etc.. One other idea is getting some indian corn, get the really big big push pins to push in the bottoms, make funny faces out of felt and get googly eyes. Let the kids use their imagination to make clothes out of the husks, then allow them to glue the funny faces on.

Take a chunk of clean touch. Draw a image on it utilising a black everlasting marker. Invert and peel the backing off. Take colored products of paper and shrink/tear them into the shapes you're able to desire to fill on your image. The trick is to do it by utilising eyesight - it quite is meant to bring about products that are the incorrect length/shape. place the products onto the touch. Use a huge sheet of paper or card as a backing. the end result's an extremely precis, po-mo, artsy image.

How about a fishing booth? Hide behind a wooden board and have kids "fish" for prizes and candy.
