I would like to know why we are preaching about democracy when a supreme court had to determine the country's current president? What is democracy for when the majority of citizens oppose the iraq war no one seems to listen to them. Isn't it time to concentrate on issues here at home.

We aren't a democracy! Bush is now a despot! He can have you arrested and thrown in jail and throw away the keys! All he has to say is you are an enemy of the US!

I opposed it before he went to war because I knew he was lying! That's the reason he bypassed the UN Security Council, that is the reason he could not produce one shred of evidence about his claims, like Kennedy did during the Cuban Crisis! He knew Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, he knew that Saddam was anything but a terrorist, he knew that Iraq had huge oil reserves that US company's lost all their contracts to Russia and France!

Bush lost the popular vote and had to be delivered by the total mess in his brothers State of Florida, getting their 25 electoral votes! Bush won ny 1 electoral vote!

Bush is concentrating on issues here! He is emasculating the Constitution, he has taken your rights from illegal arrest and detention from you, he has taken your right away to be charged and be tried by a US Court, he has given 2 tax cuts to the wealthy and wants to make them permanent, he has run up the deficit, which you have to pay, and the economy prospurs(or his rich friends with no bid government contracts) and is cutting programs for VA, the poor, the elderly, children, and the disabled!

I would say he has been awfully busy giving away this country to get the Republicans re elected!

No, there isn't a democracy in the U.S., and there hasn't been for a long time. Democracy is OF the people and BY the people. Not by the federal government.
