taco bell is suposed to be mexican. and baja blast is suposed to sound mexican. so i guess that explains it.

Well, Baja is that penninsula that California shares with Mexico.. I'm pretty sure that, though the food is good old American "fast food", the inspiration for Taco Bell is Mexican. And they consider the beverage an icy cold blast to the thirst of the consumer.
