I'm going to a wedding and I have a black dress, knee length, halter, v-neck. I wanted to wear it with my olive green, slingback, suede, peeptoe heels and maybe an olive green beaded necklace and bracelet. Will I look stupid? Help me please!

You can never go wrong with "the little black dress", even if it is a wedding! Black is flattering on everyone and you can acessorize with any color. I think it sounds great! The shoes sound awesome, they will make the whole outfit!

that's a really nice combination. little black dresses look great with green and even crayon blue shoes! its a gd thing that the shoes are peeptoes because that little bit of flesh makes a bit difference. however, make sure that they green matches ur hair because when u wear a black dress ur hair and shoes contrast a LOT.
good luck and enjoy the wedding!

Black is fine for the wedding; that way the "color" belongs to the party at the altar. I like the color combination, but wonder about the texture; what fabric is your dress? A sleek, refined fabric should be matched with shoes that share the same level of polish. If your dress is of a material that's a bit more textured, it will go fine with the suede of your shoes. The color matching of shoes and jewelry is nice; go for it.

You won't look stupid. All colors can be worn with black. This particular color combo might be a tiny bit sad for a wedding though... Why not wear the black dress with red accessories ?

No, it would not look good at all. Suede and sling back...NO Ma'am. They sound like they are HOTT TOGETHER AND SEPERATED, but that's not what you need to wear for this event. If you feel as though you have nothing else to wear and that is your only resort (which I doubt) wear it. It sounds as though you will look stunning in anything you wear. I would recommend that you wear a softer color v-neck dress.

yes, make sure you have a black clutch bag; I would go easy on the jewellery too, the dress is a statement in itself Black is quite a grown up colour though, and it depends on your age whether you will get away with it. The dress is shiny so I kind of like the silver shoes the model is wearing!! Halcon

That will be super hot. I love green and black together. Green is my fav. color. For the wedding it will look nice cause you are brightening the dress up with the green. I think you will look super hot! Good Luck!

I've been to a couple of weddings, and I've seen people wear outrageous outfits. Your outfit sounds just fine, I don't think you'll have any problems. Hope you have a good time at the wedding.

First, don't wear black to a wedding ('bad' luck). sounds like if you have a green dress to go w. those awsome accesoies, you'll be set.
