I have a Compaq Presario SR1950NX PC, it came with 1GB of ram and 250GB of hard drive, I want to up the ram to 2GBs, I want to add the memory cards myself but am having a hard time finding instructions, do the cards come with good instructions or could someone supply me with a link with a step by step install. Any help is appreciated, Thanks Joe

Not too difficult at all. Here is a link to a picture of your motherboard:http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00683208&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3184153&lang=en#N856
On the right side you should see four long slender slots that say DDR DIMM 1,2,3,4. Those are the memory slots. Installation is very simple, just put the stick in an empty slot, and lock them in with the clips. Once you open up your computer and look at it, it will become very obvious.

When you buy memory, they usually come with installation instructions

It is a RAM stick, you have one installed just add an other one, it's as simple as that.
