Why do so many people find strechted/Gauged Earrings so disgusting are we that used to Norms? go to Bodyartforms.com and look at a few things in the plugs/eyelets section you cant tell me some of those aren't Beautiful.

Many people are settled in their ways and aren't open to new things. If something is beautiful to you, that's the only thing that should matter.

Well i do not find it disgusting at all! Maybe a little too much when it is super huge hole though because i seen on tv once this guy that had his ears gauged huge and one stretched so much and broke and he had to get it sewn back together! that was a lil gross but ya i think those one are way beautiful! I have no problems with piercings what so ever i love them and hate how people have to judge you so badly just because of it and think they are so unproffesional and stuff! I think if you like it then it should not matter what other people think some just dont like you "ruining your body by putting holes in it" but i say if you want it then shwweet i love it! I have my eyebrow, bellybutton, cartlidge and ears pierced twice!!!!!!!!!

Think of it this way: It is not natural to have that done. Usually people don't see a lot of people walking around wearing that style especially if its in a small town. I live in a small town and if someone had that done it would throw up a big fuss. Its just like what I did last year. I straightened my curly hair and it threw up a fuss. I think it depends on the size of the place that you live in. I hope this helped you.

I'm used to them a lot of my friends have them and I'm STILL not a fan, just not my definition of beautiful for purely aesthetic reasons!

because it's something new they haven't seen before. Some get disgusted with that, others find it interesting and want to know more.

It's not something I would get done, but I don't find it repulsive. Its up to the individual as to what they do with themselves.
