go to the health department and get a test done

Taking a home pregnancy test would be sufficient. False negatives are more common (but still rare). If you get a positive you are most likely expecting a baby! I always get a two pack of tests and take one in the morning, in then another a week later just to make sure.

I do not know of any OBs in that area, but you could do a yahoo! search. Some OB offices have websites. Good luck in advance!

Well... I had the dr. give me a urine test w/ my first pregnancy & at 1 month, it showed up positive. With my 2nd pregnancy, they did urine tests time after time, only to get a negative result. When I still showed the signs of pregnancy 2 months later, they gave me a blood test that showed up positive on the first try.

I don't know if it has to do with the hormone levels in your body or what, but I know from experience that a urine test isn't always accurate. Either way, Good Luck-- Hope all works out well .. Wish I could refer you to a good OB doc in the area

Go to the nearest pharmacy and buy a testing kit for pregnancy...and you'll get your results.

If pregnant, your husband needs to know. Then you ask the women in your life like your mother, sister, aunt, good friend who has had kids, etc. as to who the OBGYNs are in your area. Or if you are confused, find the nearest hospital to your home and ask the receptionist who answers the phone to tell you which OBGYNs work out of that hospital...then make your choice. If you don't like one's bedside manner you can always change as it is early enough to do that.

Home pregnancy tests are just as accurate as the ones you take in office. can't help with the OB/GYN I live in Hawaii. your boobs shouldn't hurt going up the stairs. I know my felt fuller and almost burned when I touched them when I was pregnant. Take a home test if you're not sure after that, go in to your doctor.

Your best choice is to take a pregnancy test. When I called to schedule an appointment with my Dr. the recepionest said that the pregnancy tests in the stores were as accurate as the ones they give in the clinic.

go to a planned parenthood. They're not the best place in the world (lack of funding) but they can give you an accurate test.

Also, if you take an over the counter test, the chances of getting a false positive are VERY slim. as in almost no-existent. So try one of those, if it says negative, then look into planned parenthood or an OBGYN

Home test or not, you need to see a Doctor...they can comfirm or not and then do the needed blood work etc...if your pregnant you need to see your Doc regularly and he/she can recommend a OBGYN if he/she doesn't deliver. I had two kids, both home tests positive. But I did have the rare false positive home test. Simply you need to be sure, so you can start or not to take the right steps to a healthy baby.

I hope everything works out either way!!

My OB/GYN told me several years ago that the home pregnancy tests are very reliable. They are inexpensive now, too. Best of all, the results are very quick. Get one and if it comes up positive, make an appointment with an OB/GYN. Good luck!
