you cant be a whiner and expect to get what you want it just doesnt happen.. do a good job and work hard . you will get promotions when you deserve them.

depends what type of job you're applying for and location.
If it's clerical, they may require you to know computers or how to file papers. Don't assumed that employers are not giving you a job because your racial background. Take some job training courses on what you would enjoy doing so that you can get the skills you need. Have a positive attitude because it shows

Now would be a good time to reasses your skills and future. take your skills - good , bad, an ugly- take an objective look at them and see what you see. Ask some one professionally what they see - good , bad, ugly.
