I had this happen, on laminate and the wall you have to scrape off wax and then clean with a hot rag. On clothing, carpet you put a cloth over the stain and apply a hot iron, make sure you are going to throw the cloth away. The iron will pull the wax into the cloth. It works, go ahead and try.

This just happened to me. I spilled candle wax all over my laminate floor. I used a bag of ice to harden wax, then scraped it up with a credit card. Worked well. I then washed area with warm soapy water. To get the floor shiney again I used a dryer sheet. Looks like new.

Well when I did the same not too long ago I managed to scrape the wax from my laminate and ceramic tile. That seemed to work great. As for my ovenmitts- I hear freezing the article of clothing works to remove the wax but I just threw mine away.

Hope you can manage to scrape the wax from your wall and floor. Go to your local hardware store if not, they may have a suggestion like Goo Be Gone or something of that nature.

Good Luck

Apply one single sheet of a paper towel and then over that use a iron a low for about a min. then let it cool for about 30 seconds or so ( you will fell the wax sticking to the paper towel) and remove!!! It works great on wood and carpet. My friends have used it on other stuff also and say it works every time

it's easy to do. Just get some brown paper bags, put it over the spills and iron with a WARM iron. It will melt the wax & the wax will be absorbed by the paper. I have done this lots & it really works!

I've used a hair/blow dryer. While holding the dryer on the spot, it warms it up and makes it easy to remove. It's a bit trickier when on carpet, but if you are persistent, it will come up.

Hold an ice cube on it until it gets real hard, then it can easily be scraped off with something like a putty knife.
