this weekend, a few friends and i are going bowling. this girl that i like just assumed that this guy who is "just a friend" was coming. i am 14 and she is 17. this guy is a real prick at the age of 21. he likes her for sure, and all of us dont really want him to come. we all decided that i should be the one tell her. what should i say?

Who's friends with this guy? Is he just going to show up by himself? What a loser. You should tell him you guys are going somewhere else. What's a 21 year old doing hanging out with a girl that's only 17?

Tell her the truth. Say that you care that he isn't around her because-- and then tell her why all of you think poorly of him. Just be open, and as long as you're in the right, it should go fine. If not just remember that it probably would be worse if you didn't tell her the truth. Also, unless you're really big for fourteen, try not to get into some kind of rivalry thing with the twenty-one year-old. Wait a couple years, then you can think about winning the hand of the fair princess. For now, all you can do is honestly speak your mind to her on this guy.

Tell him you do not want him tagging along if he is going to be a real prick if he tags along with you he is going to spoil your evening so tell him that he can not tag along in a positive way so it will not hurt his feelings
