because soon they will need it. If we keep cutting money for education to pay for defense(because for some reason peole dont't like us) then our military will be made up of stupid men. we will need the best weapons money can buy.
Or should we find better ways to pay for both?

i don't think those guys would be too dependable. but good idea.
o and i don't think you are allowed to serve now if you have a felony.

What if we took all of the people on death row and the ones doing 20 years or more and make them go serve for free? This would help with some of the costs.
I think you can serve with a felony or two. There was a guy in court yesterday charged with 2 felonies and a misdemeanor and they dropped the misdemeanor so he could still go into the Navy.
