people usualy don't have any problem with their mate untill after they are married. don't they know that to make it work they have to work on it.

Personally I think people marry for the wrong reasons. Women tend to marry thinking it will "tame" the man or it will "fix" everything. It is quite the opposite, but women seldom listen because they see their situation as different from all the others. It's not, girls. Whatever was bad before the marriage will get worse after the marriage! Men think they simply have to put the paycheck in the bank and be home on time in order to be a "good husband". WRONG!

You are right.....people should not take the easy way out and get a divorce.....they need to remember that everything in life is not easy and when you are having a problem in your marriage working it out is the best thing and it may take more that a couple of days to work the problem out but remember to talk about it.

I believe that is why there are so many Divorces in this time. Marriage does take work, and compromise, and at the same time, remembering why you fell in love with the person in the first place and not to take advantage of the piece of paper that binds you.

No, that's why there are so many divorces.....People get bored, or just don't wanna work that hard at it and they cheat, lie, etc...
I suppose they think life is supposed to be a bowl of cherries all the time......Yeah, right!

Yes, marriage is work. It's a lot of giving and sacrificing too. But it takes both parties to want to make it work. One cannot do it alone.
