at the end of our school year, me and my friends are gonna play a song at some sort of talent show thing. we have guitars, drums and so on but we have to think of a song. we dont suck, but were not great, so try to give some easy songs to play

"Tonight, Tonight" by Smashing Pupkins. Seriously...listen to the lyrics...and you'll see that it is totally appropriate for what you're looking into. Not to mention that some seniors in my hey day played that for our Senior Talent Show. It was amaaazzzing. It's easy to play too. Consider it.

Perhaps "London Calling" by the clash?
I don't think that it is too hard, but it is a cool older song that most people know.
