There have been times, that I have had to "spill the beans" in order to protect someone. i am not a gossip, or a surprise ruin er.LOL! I know many things that I don't and won't share.

If someone has confided in me and asked me not to tell anyone and keeping the secret will not cause anyone harm, I would take it to the grave. We all need to have someone trustworthy to confide in. However, if I were asked to keep a secret, and keeping the secret would do harm, I would have to take appropriate action, letting the person know I cannot keep the information in confidence.

If I am ask to keep something quite then that is taken to the grave with me. If any person doesn't say either way, then I ask them if it is to be told or not to be told. I respect others.
