for various reasons
You have a .08% chance of becoming infertile and it increases when you havent had children
The uterus of a woman who has carried at least 1 child full term has a larger uterus than a woman who hasn't.
Therefore more perforations are seen and more expulsions of the IUD
By the way Europe has diffrent modles than what we have!!

i live in the US. i'm 28 and i went to planned parenthood when i was 26 to have an IUD put in. i've never had a baby. they said it was a reliable, reversable method of birth control, however would just be harder to insert into my cervix than it would be if i had had children, because a woman's cervix becomes a little more dialated when she has a child. they said that it was rare that my womb would be endangered in any way by the IUD and that it is popular in other countries, just not here.

I have not heard of that before. But, as with any contraceptive, there are side effects to an IUD that you need to be aware of, especially if you do want to become pregnant in the future. Talk to your doctor about what is best for you.

sure, you may get an IUD in case you have never had a sprint one. the situation with it somewhat is, maximum medical doctors won't do it as a results of fact there's a miles better danger of it being expelled by way of your uterus. nevertheless, the threat remains low, and an excellent form of medical doctors say the advantages outweigh the risks. I examine your profile, you're 21. you need to have long gone to the physician by way of now. many women think of as a results of fact they're virgins and healthful, they do no longer could desire to. that's no longer inevitably real, you're meant to bypass as quickly as you start up having intercourse, or once you turn 18, whichever comes first. Plus, when you consider which you're turning out to be married, you're able to be able to desire to bypass formerly your wedding ceremony day besides, as a results of fact in case you like delivery administration, then you definately could desire to do it formerly you start up having intercourse. stable luck!

yes you can they do it in many European countries, it might be hard to find a doc in the USA that will do it though, many still follow the old guidelines from the older styles of IUD's. today's IUD's are different... try researching it. According to some information from Planned Parenthood it is the most popular birth control in the world with 85 million women using them. price ranges listed are $175.00-$400.00.

You're not really supposed to - it has something to do with the strecthing and contracting of the womb. There are probably more suitable forms of birth control anyway.
